Is Glock 19 Gen 5 available in Canada now?

Hi, I posted a WTB ad for a Glock 19 Gen 5 on ####### and have had a quick response. The picture sent to me does not have the barrel extended out a bit like the Gen 4 to be legal in Canada. Does the Gen 5 have the barrel extension like the Gen 4? Is it even available in Canada at this time? Trying to figure out if I'm getting scammed. I just got my restricted PAL and am new to the world. Thankyou
 
I guess you are getting scammed, never saw a G19 Gen 5 in Canada, try à G19X or G45 or a G19 Gen4. The barrel should be the same as all the above, in compliance with Canadian laws.
 
Sounds like a scam to me. As far as I know, there are only a handful of Gen 5s in Canada that people have imported through I Run Guns or whatnot, and had them replace the OEM barrel with a 106mm aftermarket one and do the paperwork upon importation.
 
That's what I was thinking. I'm getting the same scam photo's for Sig P226 as well. Looks like stock photo's from American buy/sell sites and they are using spoofing the text phone numbers to mimic local area codes. Thankyou.
 
Never buy off gun post. Way too many scams on there. You can also do a reverse image search on Google to see if they came off another website.
 
Yes, wow. I'm frankly surprised at how many attempts to scam me I've had today. 5 different attempts from 5 different spoofed numbers. Might be the same person but still. Brutal.

That's a great tip about the reverse image search. I've never done that before - it found all of the fake photo's immediately. Thankyou for that tip!
 
I have a g19 gen 5 so they are available but came in short supply thru IRG.
If you didn't see the barrel extended out the tip to resemble what we get then my guess is it's a pic of a prohib from the states and a scam

But gen 5 g19's are in country

Thankyou. I’ll keep looking. Do you like yours with the revised grip? I tried the Gen 4 but the finger grooves were awkward for my hand.

indeed this what happened with my g45. i provided a canadian barrel and the little barrel is gone forever for me lol ... funny the reg that came says g45 while they re not officiallyùin canada ... maybe soon g19 and g45 will show up but i doubt.
