Is it just impossible to find a Glock 17 Gen 4 now?

I previously avoided owning a Glock, not because I disliked them, but because I was under the naive belief that they were so common that I could buy a new one anytime I wanted and as such, remained in the bottom of my priority list for quite some time. When I seriously began shopping for one, I quickly realized my presumptions weren't necessarily true in Canada. To quote a shooting buddy, "The supply we see comes in waves". I've learned that whenever I really want a gun and I see it on a dealer's shelf, I don't hesitate.

When I saw a Glock 17 Gen4 in stock at an LGS just after the New Year, I bought it immediately.

There are lots around. You just have to pick up the phone and talk to people. Most dealers have a hard time updating websites. I just bought one last week! first handgun to boot!
