Is it legal to import AR Mags from the US?

Hi

Is it legal to import AR Mags (Pinned @ 5) from the US, as long as i stick to the less than $100.00 rule.

If they're already pinned reaching Canadian Customs, they're good if I'm not completely mistaken.

depends how they are pinned customs will in most cases NOT accept a pop rivit aqnd you will lose your mag(s) buy in Canada MUCH easier

you also need the permits to import which would take weeks if not months to aquire

At least you got the option to pin it... I lost 4 mag bodies - no option to pin.

The $100 rule is a U.S. State Dept thing. Our Customs types don't care about it. Your shipper will require the U.S. export permit, that requires a Canadian import permit from you to get, for any AR-15 parts.
