Non-Restricted AR-15's would be glorious too, until that happens (if it happens) my Classic Green fills the void well. I'm sure we could all type up huge essays about what we'd firearms laws we'd like to see in this country, and they'd all be pretty similar.

Interesting you mention the FN. I was thinking yesterday how much fun it would be to plink away at 300M with an FN fitted with a normal capacity mag on a nice sunny day. Unfortunately my dream was shattered with the knowledge that I'd probably have an RCMP SWAT team descend on me, taser me a few times, kick me in the head afterwards, and I'd probably need nine lives to survive the encounter. On a serious note, the anti-gun lobby isn't stupid or sleeping. You can rest assured that Canada's anti-gun zealots are well funded ( with a little help from your tax dollars ), and well supported by politicians and of course the CACP. They are just waiting for the perfect opportunity to spread their misinformation, start the fear mongering, and get Toronto and Montreal thinking the sky will fall if law abiding John Q Public is allowed to own something that goes bang.
 
I would love a Thompson M1A1 in full auto or converted I guess. As long as I could shoot it anywhere and still have the original barrel length.
