is it ok to hunt with 22LR in Canada?

Rabbits, gophers, varmints/pests like skunks & crows, certain squirrels, upland game birds, are typical examples of legal game to hunt. Some require licenses, others not. Check for fur-bearing status or not. NOT migratory game birds, nor big game.

maybe retake your C.O.R.E. class while you're at it? these are very basic questions for which you should know the answer before you even consider hunting.

SanQ do your self a favor go take the Conservation and outdoor Recreation Education course, or get the manual for it and read it.

You live in a great province to hunt and shoot in and you'll enjoy it a lot better if you know what is legal and what will get you grief.

Contact your local rod and gun club, conservation officer or ask at a local "hunting" orientated sorting goods store, they will help steer you toward either the book or the course. If you are new to BC and or hunting I suggest taking the course, it will give you a chance to meet some like minded folks.

If it is "GAME" it requires a liscence.

You need to get a copy of the hunting regs. and read it from cover to cover and understand it BEFORE going hunting.

Canadian Tire sports section should have them.
