Is Marlin bringing back the 35 rem and the 444?

They make the 336 in 35Rem for a while now, not sure they ever stopped?

I was under the impression they had suspended production of the 35 and the 444.
Ill gladly be wrong, just haven't seen any one store shelves in quite a while.

I want Marlin to stick a factory 16 inch tube on one chambered in .35 Rem......
Hell yes! With a straight stock please.
Marlin did that already - in 1963 and 64 - called it the Marauder. They could sell a few if they made them again I think.

This is my 35 Rem Marauder.

That 7/30 is a 7mm bullet on a 30-30 case right? Any good?

Regrettably, I was a little young for that particular run of marlins in 1963. But I have money in hand should they decide on another one. I think your right, they could sell tons of them in that configuration.

There is a decent article on the Marlins in the "Rifle Sporting Firearms Journal" magazine.
January 2017 edition..................No 290.
A well written play by play of these critters.
Worthy of finding it and dewn the lookysea............

Another article titled "Winchester's Model 70 at 80".
It's a part two and well worth the read also.

Dang magazine had me reading it cover to cover.
Duzzint 'appen very often.

If anyone is reloading for the 35 Rem....I've just ordered the Lee Pacesetter 35 Rem dies and would like to hear some of your recipes for this cartridge...Pros and cons and where are you getting your brass etc....

I'd go for a new Marlin Marauder so long as it had Ballard type rifling. Micro-Groove rifling ain't the best for tossin' lead.

You can be sure Marlin would sell piles of these if they put them out there, and that QC issues are addressed proper. I would be all over a Marauder in .375 Win as well.;)
