is my barrel crome??

I have a Colt HBAR 20" flat top. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me if the barrel is crome lined? how can you tell?
what are the advantages?
is this standard on AR"s
 
I have a chrome lined barrel and am waiting for a stainless steel barrel that is coming. When the stainless gets here I'll compare them to see if I can tell by looks what is what. Stainless steel barrels are only slightly (over 95% of shooters wouldn't notice a differnce) more accurate. Chrome lined barrels last longer as stated above, "tougher". If one is to shoot cheap ammo I wouldn't recommend a stainless barrel.

Is the outer finish shiny? Pictures and as much info as you have helps.

I'm just getting back into AR's and not familar with Colt but I'd guess it's chrome lined.
