Is my CZ Shadow working right?

I just finished cleaning the CZ Shadow and now noticed that I can engage the safety with the hammer down. I don't remember being able to do that before. Otherwise, everything else seems to work normally.

I certainly can't engage the safety on my CZ 75B matte stainless with the hammer down.

Did I "break" something on the Shadow?
 
Is the hammer completely down? Because if it's pulled back slightly to the first *click* it still looks down but you can engage the safety. If the hammer is completely down then no, you shouldn't be able to engage the safety I don't think.
 
Yeah, the safety on the Shadow can be engaged with the hammer all the way down - such as after a dry fire. It also can be engaged at half-####, which is unusual too considering that the hammer must be all the way up in ready fire position before I can engage the safety with the 75B. Sheesh, I've been shooting Production so I can't even remember the last time I actually tried the safety in any of these guns.

Would this anomaly present any safety issue with the Shadow before I can get it looked at?
