After returning from the range yesterday, I noticed this damage while preparing to clean the gun. There seems to be a chunk of metal chipped away from the mouth of the chamber in the area the extractor operates. That area has always been very thin, but not being the original owner, I'm not sure what it looked like when new. I have put about 800 rounds through the gun and operation has been flawless, no malfunctions of any kind. Now with obvious damage at the chamber mouth, I'm a it worried the gun may be toast. Has anyone else seen this in their 22/45's or MK III's?
