i lucked out and was at the range when this happened but it could have been far worse!

took a shot, got my sight picture again, scoped seemed fuzzy, figured my eyes were tired and looking directly into the sun, made a follow up shot, went to look at shot placment and saw nothing but black, a quick jiggle of the scope confirmed that somthing inside had let go, haha oh well, ill just shoot it next time im out

What make/model of scope? Also, don't shoot it Is there a warranty?

its a remington 3x7, came with my remington 870 thats set up with a rifled barrel for slugs..

im not really even worried about a warentee, i never really did like it, but it was acceptable for somthing that came with my firearm, so it lived on there, ill probably invest im somthing a bit higher quality

it's a wire rectile, and the wires have broken- seen that a lot over the years- it's good enough for the kids to play pirate or something, but it's days as a riflescope are done- it COULD be repaired,( we do that with theodolites) but the cost doesn't justify the repair-
