Is my used 1911 pick up actully a tuned sleeper?

I got this little LS arms commander built on an essex frame.
after reading about 1911s and how to upgrade them i found some things that might have already been done to my gun.
first it has an old GI barrel that was cut to commander length but i think it might have been 'throated' see the photos and tell me what you think?
the other thing is there is no creep in the trigger at all. it just brakes. does that mean the trigger was done? is there supposed to be take up or creep in a normal 1911? i dont have a way to tell the pull on the trigger. it feels good is all i can say.

It hasn't been throated, that's for sure.

A 1911 trigger should have a very short, clean break. If it's got much discernible creep, it's a poor trigger.

I'm going to guess this is just a decent factory gun. Which, honestly, is vastly preferable to someone else's kitchen table race car.
