Is Premier Reticles bankrupt?

They were purchased by armament technology and are in the process of building a new facility in Halifax I believe to build scopes. There isn't much more info on the armament website but you can find contact info to get ahold of them with your questions.

Maybe there going to start building Scorpion Scopes in Canada now ! LOL RJ

Premier is not bankrupt - it was purchased by Tangent Theta, a company owned by Andrew Webber, who is also the owner of Armament Technology (master distributor for Premier/Elcan/Tenebraex...).

Kind of old news, but here is the press release from back in January:

http://www.armament.com/tangent-theta-incorporated-purchases-premier-reticles-ltd

The exciting news, is that Premier will be manufacturered in Tangent Theta's new plant in Halifax, under the "Tangent Theta" name. It's really quite exciting to consider that two of the best optics in their respective categories (the ELCAN SpecterDR and the Premier Heritage) are, or will be, made here in Canada.

Having spent a considerable time selling and using both Schmidt Bender and Premier products (particularly the PMII 5-25/Heritage 5-25) I can tell you that the Premier is an outstanding product, and the only scope in that class that compares directly with the PMII - which makes sense considering that some of the key design/engineering personnel whom worked at S&B developed Premier products.

Laugh2 Ya. They beat out S&B.....

I have both the S&B PMII and the PR and yes I prefer the Premier. The differences are very minor between the two scopes but I prefer Premiers turrets over the S&B as well the Gen 2 XR reticle in the Premier is superior to anything S&B has.
