Is SKS' bayonet legal?

Totally illegal, that's why there are tens of thousands of them all over the place, from your local Can Tire, to Wholesale Sports, to Cabelas, to any one of a dozen other mail order businesses you can find with a simple goodle search.

Everybody is selling illegal weapons all over the place ,and all the gun-grabbing, police-state-loving, law enforcement agencies in the country just haven't caught on yet... :(

Thats why you got the popularity of shooting a deer from a mile away. They're just being careful the CO doesn't catch them within the legally defined bayonette distance.

Can't be to careful these days.

I'm not sure I would want to eat a deer that let me get close enough to bayonet it to death.

On a serious note, no, it's not illegal. You'd probably want to remove the bayonet just due to the weight it adds to the muzzle. Every ounce counts when you're trekking through the woods or over hills. Although you'd give the Fudds a conniption......

But it sure adds forward weight for offhand shots.

Why would they sell illegal things then? For hunting IDK but target shooting there is nothing wrong with that. Mosin Nagant actually fire better with the bayonets on so it would be a shame to ban bayonets.
