If I could get the upper, it would have a 10.5 on it, not a 16"

It's a $600 'upgrade' over the standard Colt (at least that's what Colt Canada tells us).

I think this one is a 12.5" barrel, maybe 11.5". Can't remember exactly... But it shoots really nice.
