Is the CZ 512 in 22LR and 22WMR discontinued?

The CZ USA website shows that the CZ 512 in both 22LR and 22WMR have been discontinued for the American market for a while now, and the CZUB website is also not showing them anymore. It shows a link for the 512, but the link is now dead.

Do you guys know if the 512 rifles in both 22LR and 22WMR have been discontinued? If so do you have any inventory left?

Yeah that's the CZ USA website which has shown it as discontinued for a while now. The CZUB website which from what I understand supplies everywhere else, still had it listed last time I checked.
 
The CZ 512 Tactical in .22wmr is such an amazing firearm I can’t believe they discontinued it. Maybe semi-auto .22 magnum’s are just not popular? They should be!
 
Honestly I keep shaking my head at CZ since they purchased colt. Seems like Colt has had a bad influence on the company as a whole. The 600 line in my opinion is a giant failure, I'd much prefer the 527, 550, or 557 platforms. And now they've discontinued the CZ 512? Odd move, we will have to see what they make to replace it or maybe they don't. They clearly are willing to abandon the key markets they occupied to chase everyone else's pie, so good chance they don't come up with a new variety.

you are absolutely right on, exactly what im thinking, crazy how they are dumping the tried and proven platforms for this alloy junk that is cheap to produce

Probably axed it bc 22wmr costs almost as much as 223. So not so economical to shoot. I have the 512 in 22wmr tac model and love it. 100% reliable. Nice and accurate out to 100 yards. It’s the most fun rifle I have.
 
I came close to buying one of these but went with a 457 lux instead. I don’t regret my decision but the 512 is definitely a sweet little rifle.

CZ is shooting itself in the foot dropping all the solid platforms mentioned in this thread.
 
I saw the "tactical" 22wmr model on sale somewhere in the last 6 months. That surprised me as I thought it had been discontinued quite some time ago. In fact, I thought I had purchased the last one in the country last year. It was found on the 6th page of the google search in a tiny shop on the prairies that I'd never heard of. Amazing little rifle that packs a punch. Too bad I sold it to Dave, a guy who was visiting from Canmore, last year before May.
