Is the Nosler M48 a V Kimber 84 scenerio

The whole idea of getting a Kimber is for the reduced dimensions and weight. If you are thinking of a "beefed up all over" Kimber, you might as well just get a CRF model 70 winchester and save a few dollars. I take my rifles for a lot more "walks" than I do "drives", so the Kimber 84 series is the clear winner.

yeah thats a fair call in regards to the 8400 an the weight is possibly similiar to the model 70, minus a few lbs...... and a model 70 wouldnt be any lighter than my A bolt 30-06 , So on a technical, i dont need None of them.

there is however a bit of a journey one takes in finding the perfect gun through a variety of flavours :) some call it a never ending quest.

if i could weld my montana bolt on the left side an it all still works, i am more inclined to doing that. ;) the welds wouldnt add much weight :p

the craziest thing about all of this is you can almost buy 2 models 70s down under for one Montana these days, i checked a price today, $3,100 .......... sheesh. jam that.

stick with the 708 as the mtn rifle an practise the distance a bit more with it-- makes complete sense.
