Is the Remington ADL worth it?

I'm planning on getting a remington 700 and saw an 'ADL' version on sale for about 550 which seems to me like a good deal as most places are listing them at around 900+. I was wondering if there's any big differences/gamechangers with this version of the model 700's. I don't care at all about the stock/ergos if there's any difference in those as I plan on swapping out the stock into a MDT LSS 2 chassis.

Comes with no bottom metal if that matters to you. Otherwise, it's as good as any other 700 from the same time frame. - dan
