Is the semi auto khar arms tommy gun legal?

Hi I want to know if the thompson semi auto is legal in canada? If so do we have to modify the mags, to make it old only 5 ammos? Anyone know witch one is the best between the aluminium recever one and the steel one? How mutch are they in canada?

Thompson and varients are prohibited weapons. No more can be imported and only a select few can own them. All magazines for centerfire semi-auto rifle need to be plugged to 5 rounds.

lmao i hate these laws too. looked through FRT, all the cool guns, semi auto or not, are banned

They were in too many movies. Only reason why they were banned.

simple rule to canadian guns laws.. "IF it looks cool its banned and YOU cant own it" if you can own it it will be prohib next time libs are in
 
^ not even funny because it is true. Man I really want a Tommy like my grandads old one. I don't even want the drum mag one...sticks are just fine...just fine (another quiet cry is in order)

Is there really any alternative? I have a feeling that if you convinced Marstar to sell you one as a parts kit and you built it a completly new action that would not take any original parts the RCMP would still not be hapy with it.
