Is the slide on a pistol a restricted part?

restricted in what way.. You mean like a controllable part.. NO... it's just a hunk of metal and you can ship it any way you want.. If you want to get one of the US then yes it is retricted but so are grip screws a variety of bent wires (springs) and other widgets...

Depending on what they are for and the total value of your order could be.. Could also be a communist plot to over throw the known universe...

Funny these days how the communists don't bother me as much as my own governments (Provincial[Ontario need I say more], Federal[well the liberals did anyways], World [UN]).. When I was 17 in the army we were sure who the bad guys were (the commies) now we don't know who the next bad guy will be!

Funny thing some screws are controlled by state and some are controlled by commerce.. The rest are just screws...

No, they had them in stock, they were just 'deleted' from the order with no explanation. No big deal, just weirdness.
