Is there a 9mm rifle on the Canadian market that isn't semi-auto?

Wouldn't it just be easier to flush your communist turdtator down the toilet than playing these silly games?

I could see the appeal of a straight pull non restricted carbine with a 12.5" barrel in 9mm/45acp/10mm. Even without Trudeau a 12.5" semi would still be restricted.

This is the best path forward no question, but we need all the stupid people and those who want "free sh1t" to see the light and vote accordingly.

I look forward to the day King Turdhole gets his marching orders and that smug smile is wiped from his face.

Schmeisser SP9 would be a fun addition for straight pull (with Glock mags), a choice for the UK restricted (AR15 platform). For 9mm manual I would prefer a 12.5" pump (with Glock mags ideally) - might a Troy PAR with calibre conversion be possible? I see some utility for a manual action over and above the semi-auto political theatre, but probably not justified in the cost while semi-autos are permitted. So I'm in no rush to see this change!

Some handy little double barrel break action (or single shot) would be a must buy for me. Zero interest in semi autos as they all seem to have some issue and they are heavy. Something like a Little Badger, but decent quality and 9mm

For the guys in here wanting a manual action PCC, would something like the Troy PAR in 9mm suit your needs? It could use proprietary mags for unlimited capacity and have a short barrel while remaining NR for use in the field instead of stuck as a range only toy.

Perfect, sold - what are the next steps to achieve this? No wait ... I want it in bullpup format, less than 5lb, full ambidextrous controls too ;)

Just ignore whatever Trudeau does. This fool failed to round up restricted banned guns after 3 years and he's most likely gone in 2 years. Canada's economy is going down the abyss and even his communists friends won't be able to save him. An OIC is easy to reverse.

My only issue with 9x19mm carbines is the small velocity gains from the small case capacity cartridge compared to the velocity increase with larger capacity handgun cartridges eg 357 mag.

Good. 357 mag out of a carbine is an entirely different beast than out if a 2" to 6" handgun.

I assume OP wants 9mm because of the price of factory ammo.

Reloading cost difference 9mm vs 357 is only a the bit of extra powder. a 357 lever is still on my wish list but they are expensive.. even used : (

Waiting for Savage to come out with PCs in their Impulse straight pull rifles
they have a 6 creed, so the appropriate action length
U.S. hunter demand for straight-wall carttridge hunting rifles pretty much says it will happen

You have picked out one minor concern and ignored two MAJOR problems your choice would create.

There are virtually zero available detachable magazines for 357 Mag. In a detachable magazine, there is always the potential problem of rim lock. Neither of these issues are a problem in 9mm, which is the reason you see 9mm carbines for sale and not 357 Mag carbines.

It is just that I don't have anything non-restricted in 9mm. Given that a I've got a few handguns in 9mm it would be nice to have a non-restricted 9mm to.
