I know it's been asked , but I have nothing better to do right now..:) Any way , yesterday I kinda forgot to slide my earmuffs down , well my ears were ringing for 20 minutes. Is there any kind of flash hider , that do not make the gun so sonic? There's got to be something that do not change the sound? Even if it's for looks only, it's a .223 , so I don't really need a brake , nor do I need to hide the flash. I just like the look.

A2 flash hider. But a flash hider isn't supposed to increase the concussion, only a muzzle brake does. I don't think there's a muzzle device that will decrease the sound signature enough so you can shoot your rifle without ear protection. Good luck.

I have a Flash hider/ recoil compensater. From Ironeagle tactical. It's aluminum and is listed as both. I'm not trying to make it quieter, as I know that's illegal. Just would like it to sound the same as without anything on there. I will check out the A2. Thanks for the reply....brian

I have to second the ATRS Eliminator.

I have two friends with them. One on a 300 blackout and one on a 500 S&W, both H&R handi-rifles.

Good looking little black rifles and I could shoot them all day without ear protection!
