Is there a gm6 lynx on the east cosst

A little off topic but why isn't it more popular with any military? You would think a compact .50 BMG would be handier than an M82A1. Unless it's fragile or unreliable.

Lol that's where your wrong. Springfield in new Brunswick goes out to 1000 meters. There are also a few other ranges that you can stretch it out pretty far.

And you guys are 100% sure that those civilian private ranges are designed and CFO approved with a Template for .50BMG? I'd love to hear more about all these ranges cause I know a few guys from other ranges and not one of them have mentioned it and its not like the .50cal discussion hasn't come up a few times before...

We have 800Meters at bullmeadow and its one of the best(probably the best..) civilian private range in "the east coast" with over 1900acres and lots of room beyond that for buffer and we're not approved for .338lapua or .50bmg. Pretty sure if it could have been, it would have been.
And of course in this part of the country we're not exactly supposed to just pick a spot anywhere in a clearing or under a power line and have at it, like in some of the western provinces, so no " Private acreage" around here is not " fine as well " if you want to do things somewhat legally.

Just moved to Nova Scotia last week. I'm looking now for a range to shoot 50 and other large stuff. I will in cape Breton for a few days. I will look there to see if there is somewhere to shoot.

Just hear back from Musqdoboit Rifle & Revolver - no go for .50 BMG and Debert Military Range is limited to .308 Win./7.62 and not aware of anywhere else in N.S., but have made inquiry to Atlantic Marksman(AMA). Too bad as we have an as new HS50 that we would like to try!

Update - no go at AMA, but responder mentioned that you can hunt with .50 in season.

The coyotes won't know what hit them.

That raises an interesting question, can you practice at a DNR range with them then, since I was told many moons ago by DNR that that was the whole reason for DNR ranges.
