Is there a minimum barrel length for antique pistols?

I may be missing it, but I cannot find in the antique regs for handguns where there is a minimum barrel length specified. There is for restricted firearms, such as handguns, but what about antiques? If so, (and you are sure about it), what is the minimum barrel length and is it measured from the back of the cylinder?

I don't think there is. That's why something like a Sharps peperbox is prohib if 22rf, but antique if 32rf.

"...minimum barrel length..." Doesn't apply as they're not considered to be firearms as long as the antique fits in the narrow definition. However, for a revolver, the cylinder doesn't count.

I picked up a Guardian Bacon 32 rimfire with a 3 inch barrel froma gun store in Ontario who are regularly visited by the CFC reps and have had stuff confiscated. This particular gun however was not and they were not told to reclassify it either. So to the best of my knowledge there is not. ( soory about the spelling and grammar)he he!

I can't find any information that specifies a minimum barrel length for antique pistols and it does make sense that there wouldn't be any, since they are not considered to be firearms under normal circumstances.

Most certainly not.
If unsure, contact CFC - they issued antique letters for any barrel length if the gun itself qualified.
