Is there a Norinco 1911 Commander in 9mm?

I see several retailers offering Norinco 1911 Governments in 45 and 9mm, but wonder if they make a Commander in 9mm?

Shorter barrel, more prevalent ammunition, accessories by the ton, etc.

OK, based on the post counts of respondents, I think it is safe to say, No.

Norinco makes the NP-29 which is a full sized Colt 1911 copy in 9 mm. If you want a Commander length in 9mm the only option I've found is SAM (Shooters Arms Manufacturing) that I got from Wolverine. They have several options in 9mm including stainless. A little more expensive than Norinco, but still not prohibitive, and I think, worth the money.

Sam are making a fine budget firearm these days...I'm running a enhanced military 9mm ....it's quite the shooter..

I have some Norincos and some SAMs. SAMs are much better finished. They cost more.

From a shooting performance point of view, Norinco are best value.

But I would prefer to own a SAM.
