Is there a premium on OD Gen 3 Glocks?

Just to clarify, I am indifferent. I wanted a Glock 27 and an OD was available and I bought it. Then I wondered if some people avoid them or if they command a small premium amongst people who favour the OD models.

Maybe selling to sheeple.. They are exactly the same list price. And still available from retailers.

Why the premium?

IMO, the only way to make a glock uglier.. :D

OD aren't in production anymore and are now considered somewhat of a collector item. Granted, black Gen 3s aren't being produced anymore (to my knowledge) but there are much more of them than the OD.

I would expect a small premium for OD....but I would never pay it.

Del Selins still has them, TSE still has them, PO still has them..

I, personally, would pay more for a GEN3 over a Gen4 as they are more proven with a better finish. Thankfully it isn't necessary as 3's are usually cheaper anyhoo..

Not entirely accurate, they may have the 22 in OD but that's about it. Try finding a 17,19 or 26 in OD...good luck

What about the "Made in Austria" one? Mine was entirely made and assembled in Austria with the european proof stamp. The frame is stamped "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK Ges.m.b.H" I don't see them often.

Dunno, I just checked and both my Gen3's say the exact same thing. My Gen4 just- 'Made in Austria"

I'm considering a trade for my
od. Would it be out of line to request some thing in addition to sweeten the deal or would that be rude?

It is not rude for you to ask because if both end feel happy, why not? A well used OD Glock indeed keep more value that of the black counterpart because there are always od fans out there.

I thought they still had huge contracts with the gen 3s.
