Is there an ammo fanufacturer making cheap 7.62x39 in Canada?

Hey guys

I sold my Cz 858 a few years ago when there was a dip in the available surplus 7.62x39 and I'm regretting it. I'm thinking about getting another one but I'm a little worried about cheap FMJ surplus ammo drying up for good.

Is there a manufacturer making steel cased (or brass cased - doesn't matter) ammo that's reasonably priced compared to factory 223 ammo? I'd reload for it since I do have the dies and some brass but I'm guessing the VZ series of rifles is pretty hard on brass like most autoloaders.

I'd consider buying one of the non restricted 223 versions but I'd prefer a rifle in 7.62x39 over 223.

There is mountains of x39 surplus. Buy a sh*tload of it and don't worry about it for the next 2 decades.

7.62x39 is still in use and has been in use for years.

I think it's going to have longevity over say, 303, or 30-06, and such - because no major players are using these rounds anymore.

No one here is making it. I doubt if anyone could make it as cheap or cheaper than the surplus stuff out there.

Maybe there would be a (small) market for some accuracy loadings, but for that, handloads are the answer.

There is no way you could make 7.62x39 in any normal economy that was even close in price to what surplus is selling for.
