Greetings,

I have an Magpul Mlok mounted bipod. Is there a QD (quick detach) mount that would work so I can remove/install the bipod without tools?
I have heard of the "arca" mount but don't know much about them.

Thanks

Adding an ARCA/RRS rail to the underside (making sure you get the kind that does M-Lok), then using a compatible bipod, is the usual way of being able to pop it on and off easily in competition.

There are unfortunately far too many standards for attaching a bipod to a rifle. The T-rail that benchrest shooters use is for much-less-dynamic use, M-Lok is for more-permanent accessories, Picatinny rail is too grabby if your hand or something you're resting the rifle on gets underneath, and the sling-stud method is too light and fiddly.

There is a Mlok qd attachment ( I believe that Kinetic Development makes it?) but I believe it's Mlok to pic rail anyways. Your best bet is to add a pic rail (if you just want to attach your bipod up front) or a full length arca/RRS rail (if you want to be able to slide your bipod fore and aft) and then put the appropriate attachment on your bipod, be it Mlok to pic or Mlok to arca/RRS. I have a Magpul Mlok bipod as well and have it attached to a ADM Mlok to pic qd adapter, works great.
