Is there any good deal now for 1000 round of 9mm?

Shipping of ammo costs a lot due to the weight. So posting your location would help folks to help you. It's commonly better to pay 20 to 40 more and buy locally than to get a deal and pay for shipping.

The aluminium cased stuff shows up on sale the most often. But one of my CZ's chokes on it frequently. And just two weeks ago at a match I watched someone with an M&P run into numerous FTE's with the stuff. So buy a box or two of 50 and try it first...... unless you want to have a lot of practice at clearing stovepipes and double feeds. Then it's PERFECT!

If you don't mind using Commercially Reloaded Ammo, I can recommend WOLF Reman ammo from SFRC or directly from WOLF. They have both jacketed and bare lead. They are as good as factory loads and I never had any problem as used on CZ 85C and 75 SP01 Shadowline. Keep your casings as you might try reloading later.

If you shoot enough to worry then it is time to reload.

I am in ON,Near Markham

Not with a 38 special. 9mm is what I've been using. Bare lead and few rounds of FMJ and not a single hiccup. I know several shooters in our club using .40 and .45 both jacketed and bare lead and they are also good.

Hi Ambishooter,

Have you tried their 38 special jacketed/copper coated? I'm asking for use in a revolver.

Thanks,
Amol

In Ontario. Lebarons had it for $287. Remington 9mm factory loads. Go to their instore and internet specials on their website. You can go get it no shipping charges

Wanstalls selling CCI Blazer is $299 for 115gr + 15 shipping, and of course taxes.

Check LeBaron, they may have specials on 1000 rd 9mm.

With SFRC, you can buy smaller quantities. From a box of 50 to 1000 rds. AFAIK, WOLF now requires a minimum of 5000 rds, otherwise, you will be directed to SFRC or other retailers.
As mentioned by others Le Baron has some "Specials" on selected factory loads. You can also price match with Bass Pro as long as you print the page from retailers with physical stores.

Thanks, do you buy direct from them? I'm considering as I am in the GTA.

I pick up 1000 of the Sellier & Bellot (brass) for $260, no shipping as I get it in person. Very nice ammo, clean and a bit hotter than the Remington and American eagle stuff. I was getting it for $240 but it went up a bit. Got my .357 for $22 a box, .45 ACP for $21, and I cleaned him out of .44 mag for $32 a box! I have enough .44 to last the rest of my life I think, something like 1500 rounds in the locker. I don't shoot it much, but I go through a pile of 9mm and .45, and a bit of .357 and .38. I don't think the supplier is a forum sponsor, but if anybody wants contact info PM me.

Since you're in Ontario I'd look around for local stores that might carry the Wolf reloads. Either those you can buy from in person that are close enough for the drive or where they may be out of reasonable driving distance but where the shipping within Ontario won't raise the final cost to something out of all reasonable cost.

I bought about 700 from a local guy a few years back and it shot well and gave zero problems. And I've never read anything bad about Wolf reloads on this or any other forum.

the only local store that ive seen near markham that sells Wolf is Williams Arms in Port Perry.

i bought 5000 rounds of 9mm 124gr directly from wolf back in march (cost me $1500 including taxes and shipping) and i have less than half of it left.

I have used the 38 special as well as 357 magnum. No issues with either, the powder residue is more than I have seen with the few tyoes of factory ammunition that I have tried.
