is there any sporting semi-automatic only SAKO M95 rifle in canada?

Did you mean the .50 Barret or the SAKO M95 assault rifle? Both are prohibited.

The M95 is the selectfire version. M92 is semi. There were some made in .223 but most would have been 7.62*39mm.

There doesn't seem to be any around. I checked and could not find any mention of it in the FRT. Not specifically mentioned in the OIC but that doesn't mean anything. Here's a pic from Finland compared to an AK. Looks like the brake comes off pretty easy for can use. This guy has some other type of muzzlebrake attached. Original brake is in the pic just above the can. The front grip is an add-on.

Might be hard pressed convincing the RCMP that that's not an AK variant.

Sako stopped the production years ago. I doubt you can get one easily even if it is freely non restricted.

Even restricted would be fine. Worse comes to worse I would have marked it "Valmet hunter sporter" and marketed it as a variant of the non-restricted models. Unfortunately the finns had to go and get norinco's...
