I have always used the plastic MTM boxes for my reloads but I have always liked the boxes that factory ammo come in. (don't know why just do)

Can you buy blank 20 round boxes with inserts from anywhere? It would be easy to make my own labels just need the boxes. I somewhat doubt you can get anything like that but if you can I figured someone on here would know.

Not sure if its of any help, but Buffalo Arms sells antique-looking cardboard ammo boxes.....specific to many cartridges.....
 
Is it possible to undo the ends and the open edge of a factory box and turn it inside out? I'll give it a try if I have an empty open box around and let you know how it turns out.

i have approx 20 empty cardboard boxes of .223 that I guess I could sacrafice and part with for a fee
empty cardboard .243 as well
 
A bud who owned a printing business made some plain shotshell boxes up for himself, just for s**ts and giggles. The plain white box had a very stylized graphic "FGR" on the front and back panels and a label on top to be filled in with his reload data. Otherwise, the boxes lookied like standard die-cut factory shell boxes.

When asked " What's rhe FGR stand for ? " ( and the letters weren't his initials or even close to them ) he took great delight in replying quite proudly:
" F**kin' Great Reloads ! " ... definitely brought forth more than afew giggles !

Not a bad Idea might have to make some phone calls.
 
i have been turning the factory boxes inside out and seems to work not too bad , but if you don't have factory boxes available kinda up ####s creek guess you could put up a wanted add in your club house looking for factory boxes.
