I agree, nice shooting ! From what I can see, your group measurement from edge to edge was 2cm or 0.787 inches. Less the 0.308 inch bullet diameter, you get 0.479 inches. Convert that to MOA by multiplying by 1.047 and the result is 0.5015 MOA. So very, very close.

Great group, and for a first outing, wow.
I presume you had a load already for your rifle.
If you are in load development that is very promising.
Keep it up.

This is a .5 or even slightly sub MOA, your rifle the SSG 3000 308 is one of the most accurate if not the most accurate rifle out of the box, the Bushnell 10X40 is a good scope but the crossairs are thick so further down, it will be harder to keep the group ultimate... This rifle desserve the best scope you can afford... Congrats on great shooting... JP.

Tks a lot, I am using this ammo, the SSG3000 is brand new, I just get it sight in.

Looks good.

Save yourself the hassle and get a rear bag. Makes life much easier.

Keep it up. Attempt the challenges on this forum if you want.

edit:. One last thing. Your scope is zeroed so hit it with a few MOA off center so you don't ruin the location your shooting at.

Actually I believe .787"-.308=.479/1.047=.457moa.

22.3 mm. Vernier are read from the zero on the slide for the major division, then the minor division is read off the vernier scale on the slide. Zero is just past the 22 mark, the vernier scale shows the 3 lined up with the marks on the beam, so 22 +. 3 (maybe .32, tough to tell in the picture) = 22.3 mm. .878-.308 = .570 / 1.047 =. 544 moa.
