Is This A Canadian Military Rifle Case?

I was told this was an original Canadian military rifle case for a target rifle. I have never seen one like this before. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks for looking.

IMHO, there are so few target rifles in the CF that any bags out there would probably be just one-offs and picked up using discretionary funds on civvy street.

but I have been wrong before...

It lloks like a case I had in the late '60's from Cambodian Pneu.

Just before shucking it to the garbage can, check the bottom end of it; old timers used to put protective paper wadding for the muzzle down there in the form of tightly rolled $1000 bills...
