Is this a damaged crown?

The crown on my rifle has some light marks, not sure if this is something to be worried about.

I thought this was a good article, I doubt its the norm. The author clearly doesn't really understand why or how. But I thought it was worth the read.

The only part of the crown that matters is that tiny beveled part right at the end of the bore. You're fine assuming that the bevel isn't damaged.

Crown looks fine. Run a few shots through barrel and have a look at soot pattern that forms on the flat of the barrel end. If you get an even pattern with equal sized valleys and spikes crown is fine. If you get an uneven pattern crown should be touched up.
