Found a new/unfired Ruger 77 in the 7MM WSM.
New in the box.
$600 plus appropiate taxes.
Deal or no?
Better caliber for big game verses the 270WSM?

I haven't got a 7mm wsm but I think it's a great cartridge and I'm waiting for the right one to cross my path. The 7mm boasts a lot better bullet selection than .270. It comes down to the old .270 vs 280 argument that can never be won. There will be nay sayers that claim the 7wsm is obsolete and brass supplies will dry up but the 7wsm has a following in the precision rifle events with many customs being built around it. If you pick up a couple hundred brass I think you'll be set for life.

ruger 7wsm new/unfired for $600..... ya I'd say a pretty good deal.

Sounds good to me. I'm bitter that the 270 WSM caught on and the 7mm did not, if the right one came along I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up.

I think it is $250 too low. You should offer more. No harm in bidding the price up to secure something you want.

ballistically identical but very different rifles...you should buy the 280AI Vanguard.....so I can buy the 7WSM
