Good day all. I have been offered a CZ 75B stainless with two mags and factory case for $550. I have not seen it yet but I will assume it is in good condition. The guy has quite an extensive collection so I doubt it has seen much range time. Is this a good deal? I did a quick Google search but can't find too many Canadian retailers in order to compare prices.

Totally legit, it's a guy I know in town. Just got pictures. It is a two-tone gun, matte stainless steel lower with a blued upper. Hogue wrap around grips, original black grips and hi-viz fibre optic sights (rear sight looks to be adjustable).

I don't think that what you described is a factory set-up. If upper is blued, than it's not SS model obviously. Sounds like a competition pistol with hard chromed or nickled frame, not the SS model. Be careful, high mileage possible and worst of all - possibly the previous owner was messing with the gun's internal components.

You pretty well covered what I was going to reply. The only factory two tone 75B is blued slide with satin nickel frame. Anything else is not manufacturer stock.

If it has Hogue wrap around grips, they didn't put a lot of mileage on the gun in competition. Most go to slimmer grips.

This is mine, does it look like this?

Pretty much, just with Hogue grips and Hi-Viz sights. I've only seen a crappy cell phone pic so far, haven't gone to look at it yet. Assuming it is in good condition and is the factory two-toned model, still a good deal?

I had a full satin nickel 75B a few years back, paid $750 for it new. I think it's a good deal if it's low mileage and hasn't been f@cked with much. They are excellent pistols.

You can always make a lower offer if you want, it's a buyers market with people scared that some anti yahoo will be in power.
