is this a good deal? im thinking of putting it on a .22lr....17 has a bit more kick then the .22 so it should be fine?
let me know what u guys think

i'd pass. if you're desperate for a scope, i can sell you my Gamo 3-9x56 w/ illuminated reticle for $40 plus shipping. i bought it off eBay as well but ended up replacing it with a Bushnell. no adjustable objective, but you can adjust it if you take off the front cover ring. set it once and live with it.

if you have a bit more scratch, pick up a Redfield 3-9x40 from lebaron or maybe just a bushnell trophy like a 3-9 or 4-12. look through them first before you decide.
