Is this Beretta Original?

I have a chance to purchase this gun. Owner claims its original from factory and only 12 made. I cant find any info else where so I though I try this site. What do you think?

From the pictures provided, I would suggest that it was not original. The stock looks like it has been distressed in the same way folks do to furniture in an effort to antique it. The for stock carving (if you want to describe it as that) seems home done and looks very un-professional. Buyer beware in my opinion.

I don't believe Beretta ever made a stock like that much less 11 just like it. Beware any gun seller who says, "It's really rare. They only made a few...." The good news is the Internet can put the lie to those claims very easily.

Far too crudely done to have ever come from the Beretta factory imo.

Thanks all. I had the same feelings but she was convinced it was worth 15K so i kept second guessing myself.
