Is this Brass reloadable? Just getting back into shooting after years away

Unless its Berdan primed, I believe u can reload just about any 303 brass out there. The No4 Mk1 is an excellent rifle to start reloading for. You will want to neck-size your brass after you've fired them.

S&B brass can have tighter primer pockets than US made brass so it can be a bit harder to seat the primers to proper depth for the first reload or two. Other than that I've never had any S&B brass that wasn't reloadable.

If you want good brass for your Enfield then try Prvi Partizan, it has a larger base diameter, it is .010 thicker in the base web area and has thicker rims than any other presently made .303 brass.

Interesting photo about the PRVI brass! Sloppy chambers are a standard challenge with Lee Enfields.

One other comment. While the modern S&B brass is boxer primed and OK to reload, I have both .22 hornet and 8x57JR ammunition from years ago in the old brown and white boxes that are Berdan primed and is not recommended for reloading.

The bullet has nothing to due with the brass. If it has the correct primer{boxer} you are good to go. If however it is berdan primed it isn't worth the time.

Hell of a time seating FED and REM primers into S&B 44 Mag primer; no problem with FED, REM and WIN brass. Had to switch to CCI primers for S&B; lots more FTF on DA revolvers with light springs on hard CCI primers.

I had problems with Winchester primers and S&B brass, the pockets were too shallow.
Wore out a reamer cutting them down before modifying a drill bit instead
Used some shallower pistol primers on some light plinking loads.
I had great luck with S&B brass, some have not.
Welcome back to reloading :D

An RCBS primer pocket uniformer will do the trick.
I have trimmed thousands of primer pockets and its still as sharp as the day I bought it.
