Hey guys, i'm new to firearms and will shortly have my RPAL.

I was wondering if the Taurus PT945 is available in Canada, as i would like to buy it.

It is a .45 ACP, mag capacity of 8 rounds.

Can i buy it here? from which retailer(s)?

i'm sure this sounds like a super noob question, and for that i am sorry. Just trying to get info from people who know the stuff...

Yep. Where are you?
Epp's is a Taurus dealer. They're not listing a 945 though. Several 1911's at $946 for SS.
You really should try one on for size before you buy any pistol. The fit to your hand is critical.
Be advised that Taurus doesn't have a good rep for customer service.

thanks for the heads up. i know fitting is critical, which is why i,d like to find a local retailer...makes it easier on so many levels...
 
"...easier on so many levels..." Absolutely. Any local gun shop can order whatever you want. Mind you, most want the money up front.

sunray, you are the man, thanks a bunch for the info. i'll check it out with my local gun shop then. he doesn't list any Taurus products, but i guess you're right and it makes perfect sense, i don't see why he couldn't get it for me. and for the money upfront, don't they all? :p
