Is this laser illegal in Canada?

Hey, i was looking at aiming lasers on e-bay and came across this,

It says 35mw on that item
in the Canadian radiation emiting devices laws it says that laser pointing devices have to be below 1mw, is that item classified as pointing device or something else?

perfectly legal. those lasers are sent through customs all the times. usually a lot of airsofters buying them up and using them.

That's no more dangerous than you key-chain laser pointer. It's an airsoft toy. A dedicated tactical laser pointing device runs for around $400-600.

like $2500+ USD civilian market...

A Aimer/Illuminator is like 5k + on the civy market.
