Is this legal in canada?

Nope. It gets hit squarly with the "one pull of the trigger" thing. If they ever do become legal somehow, I'll have one built in a day.

yea but the "trigger" just engages the cam. cranking it actually manually pulls the trigger. i'd say each crank is like pulling the trigger a separate time.

but logic was not taken into consideration when they made our firearm laws i guess.

Just saw one bought and sold as part of a large gun collection on an Alberta forum. Someone managed to get one up here. Whether it was legal or not I suppose is another question.

Nothing a camo paint job wouldn't fix!

And a cutting torch.

Pretty much of no use other than to make noise, and noise can be made more effectively than what I see there, by working fast on a regular trigger anyway.

Now, if we could get hold of some of the belt feed stuff from Lakeland Machine...

Cheers

I don't think it is.
On the other hand it is rather ridiculous looking.

"Knowing" is better than "thinking". Perhaps, this will clear it up for everyone involved...

PART 4

PROHIBITED DEVICES

Former Prohibited Weapons Order, No. 9

1. Any electrical or mechanical device that is designed or adapted to operate the trigger mechanism of a semi-automatic firearm for the purpose of causing the firearm to discharge cartridges in rapid succession.

look for the akins accelerator video.

Awesome, a bump fire stock? does that count as a "mechanical device that is designed or adapted to operate the trigger mechanism of a semi-automatic firearm for the purpose of causing the firearm to discharge cartridges in rapid succession"?

Its still semi automatic hmm
