So to make a long story short.

I had to drive my grandfather into town to the hospital "waited in there for 5 freakin hours" when I went to go get the car, "around 1am we got out" I was walking around the corner of the hospital, and then I seen a fox coming across the parking lot. I was like ok cool beans. No not so.. the freakin fox started coming across the road straight at me looking me straight in the eyes. So I yelled at it and stomped my feet on the ground  my God the thing kept coming at me but at a faster pace. So I started walking backwards, it kept coming at me "I was like  wtf!?"

So as I turn around heading back the same way in which I walked out, went around the corner and the SOAB was still coming at me but this time jogging towards me. It came all the way to the freakin door!

Think this fox had rabies? Because it is to my understanding that Foxes are very timid animals, and in my experience seeing many they book it when they see me.

Not to mention this fox wasn't a pretty one either. I would have shot the bugger if I had my gun and this had happened in the woods!

Foxes habituate quite quickly and once humans become a source of food, they can become quite insistant that you feed them. I've seen then climb in the cabs of trucks to grab a sandwich, go in lunch bags at a jobsite and one time, we were landing a small plane in Norman Wells and we had a fox come out on the runway and chase the plane just like a dog chasing a car. It was the darndest thing I've ever seen. I agree with nine......just saw you as a provider of food!

Okay gentlemen, let's keep this clean and above the belt.

FIGHT!

LOL :dancingbanana:

Ya. I just found it real odd that after I yelled at it and it didnt even flinch but just kept on a comin, I was thinking he wanted to taste my boot :runaway:

He definately had food on his mind! ;)

Had one hanging around the asphalt plant last spring and it would come right up the steps into the control room and take food right out of my hand by the end of the job. Just cause they ain't scared doesn't always mean rabies.

Once they have a taist of hand outs they are more persistant than the family pet. They just wont take no for an answer. Being in town it proble thought you had a snack for him and took you yelling as a come get it then you running back inside was OH fast food
