Is this OK for accuracy?

My first 5 shots at 100 yards out of my new to me SKS with it's stock Iron sights. The 2 wild shots were done standing off hand, and the 3 in the middle were from the bench... Czech surplus ammo was used. :D

I could barely make out the Orange ring...I just aimed "center of mass" on the white blob. :D

I think she is a keeper...I can hardly wait to put my Red Dot sight on her...and a bolt buffer. :D

What do you guys think?:)
 
Encouraging, but a single three shot group really doesn't tell you anything. To get a bit better idea, try a few 10 shot groups, and let us know.
 
Looks pretty good to me. I'm happy to be anywhere within the rings at 100 with my open sight milsurps. Nothing wrong with the guns, mind you... :redface: :D
 
It's impossible to hit a barn door with a $175 ? SKS, everyone knows that.

To be able to get groups like this you must have spent $3, 000 on a Sig black rifle:rolleyes:

its all in the wrist,or lack there of.;)

p.s. if you look down your rifles sights,you probably could hit a barn door.hell,everybody else can,why can't you?:p :p

Seen some of his other posts, and I agree he's troll-ish. But he's got a point, there are a lot of people who speak poorly of the poor old sks, when in fact, it's a quite servicable gun

What's the matter with you, are you never going to stop crying ? I have stated several times that Sig black rifes are nice, do you want me to say they are a piece of S**t or something ?

There is no pleasing some people.
 
I don't think I could be that close grouped with my airgun, at about 25 meters.
I blame it on the steroids they put in beef these days.
Great job!

And a rifle is a rifle. Overall, they shoot fairly accurately.

must be the confusion of coming into a sub forum dedicated to SKS topics and then bashing the main focus of attention...I guess it might be confused with

SigKS guns ;)

Kind of like going to Burger King and saying the Big Mac is the best burger around :D
