As far as I can tell its off a belt.... Some bad dirt and grime on them. My question is some of the rounds are loose. The projectile is loose in the casing. Some I can turn a full 360 and others move in and out. Can I still shoot that stuff?

shoot away, just clean up any excess crap on the cartridges so you don't get any foreign material stuck in your chamber.

Wipe them off and shoot them.

Some might not go bang and some might give you a short shot.

Short shot is a personal term, I've had it happen with some Radway Green 303Brit and some WWII dated 8x57. The primer fires fine but the powder/chordite won't ignite. This will cause just enough pressure to get the bullet about 1/2 way down the bore and leave a big mess in your mag well.

If this stuff were mine, I would pull the bullets and reload it with new powder/primers or just keep it to go along with vintage rifles for display purposes.

If you decide to shoot it, make sure the bullets actually go all the way through the barrel. It's easy to tell, no recoil, no loud muzzle report, quit shooting and run a cleaning rod down the barrel from the breech end, if possible.

Thanks guys. I will crimp them a bit. Cant reload since I dont have equipment. Its for a Yugo M48. There were 3 that were really corroded around the bullet seat. Those are gone....
