Is this worth anything?

Ammo cans are extremely handy things to have. Newer cans are likely better than a 1955 vintage one like yours though. There's a rubber gasket on them that keeps moisture out.
Haven't a clue what it'd be worth, but they can be surprisingly pricey.

The can would be OK if someone hadn't drilled some holes in it.
But it's still a good example of 1950's production.

If you are referring to the 2 holes at the bottom, those look like standard issue drain holes from the factory.
