Just got me a .40 pistol and looking o buy in the 2000-3000 round range, jsut looking for the best place.

I am in Edmontont if that matters, I dont know how shipping of ammo works, besides being heavy.
 
Check out canadianbdx.com. You can't beat the price. I ordered 1k and Kurt was great to deal with. He's in the Calgary area.

I agree, cdnbdx is great, just emailed Kurt the other day, he is great, fair, and quick to reply. Federally licensed to reman. ammo.

Sells to anyone. He doesn't have a storefront but he will arrange to meet for pickups if you're in the area. I had mine shipped to me, Purolator IIRC.
 
hmm ok, I will have to email him, I estimated a box of 1000 weighing 40 lbs, and 18x18x10 inches (I really have no idea) and it was 20 bucks canadian post normal mail.

good to know, I only tried it because his site linked to it to caculate shipping.

I go out to cowtown often enough that I would try for pick up anyways.
Or courier it to the office... lol :eek:

buddies state side like wolf for plinking with semi auto rifles that are prohib or at least restricted here, and with 30 round mags too :(
but they say it makes the guns dirty pretty quick. But I dont have any first hand experiance.


Anyone know how much 1000 rounds of .40 weigh? or close even?
Purolator said they handle ammo, but need certain info befor pickup.
