Are Ishapore 2A1 Enfields in 7.62/.308 hard to find? What is the going rate? Ishapore also made the 410 shotgun using No.1MkIII's. What size/type of shell do these shoot?

The Ishys are everywhere in the States, but seem to be scarce up here.
I wouldn't mind one myself as I am a sucker for 7.62.
A sported Ishy would make an ideal candidate for a L42 clone project. (Come to think of it..I take that back, the action wouldn't be right-Darn!)

The Enfields converted to .410 fire a brass cased short .410 shell, but the chambers can be reamed to accept the standard .410
Apparently a standard shell can be chambered, but the short chamber doesn't allow the crimp to open properly leading to, er.....problems.
