Looking for a 12 gauge left hand pump preferably with removable/multi choke. Not wanting to spend a ton of $$. Thanks for reading

OP, there aren't many LH options in shotguns in general. Possibly Remington made a LH 870, but I'm not sure of that.

There are other options, though, that are bottom load/eject and those are fine for a lefty because hulls go straight down. The Ithaca M37 (I think?) and its clones are like this and the BPS that Foot76 mentions also.

I have a Chinese made Stevens 350 that Savage imported that is an Ithaca clone and works fine. It's a bit rough around the edges, but is reliable and has never given me any problems.

As a southpaw that has switched to dedicated LH bolt actions I’ve never felt at a disadvantage with a rh pump shotgun, in fact I think it’s an advantage for me.

Your support hand is on the same side as the loading port if you need to quickly load a single shell, or look into the action to make sure it clear for whatever reason. I’ve ever been hit by a spent shell or any debris, the available extra accessories for a LH pump gun is next to nil. Try finding any different LH barrels for example, your stuck with the one it came with. Rem made LH 870’s but I’ve never seen anything other than a 28” vent rib barrel, no slug or turkey etc barrels that I’ve ever seen for them.

I personally would stick to a rh pump shotgun, or a bottom eject if you think you’ll take a spent hull in the face (you won’t though). A Ithaca m37 is pretty great.

Ithaca m37/ clones,

Browning bps

870

Mossberg 500.

I have owned every single option and they all work fine.

Some are rough and some are nice. I like the BPS but I found it felt heavier than the others. The Ithaca clones (Stevens 350) is rough and the cycle release is in an annoying spot for use as a lefty. The 500 is a mossberg so you get what you get and it works well. They even had a bird and slug barrel combo. An the 870 is about the same.

Also WTB ads should be posted in the correct forum to get the best response from people looking to sell.

As a left-hand shooter I love my Mossberg 500. It still ejects on the right side, but the safety is ambidextrous and the slide release is easy to reach left or right handed.

Got to agree, as a left handed shooter the Mossberg design is perfect for me. I shoot a 590 Retrograde quite often in competition and everything on it from safety to slide release is perfectly situated for a lefty. I’ve always found whether a semi or a pump, a typical “ right handed “ shotgun works best for me
