Hi, I just picked up a bunch of of what I think is Israeli 5.56:D They come in 200 round dark green rubber battlepacks. The battlepack is marked 200 cartridges 5.56mm Ball M193. In the battlepacks the rounds come packed in white boxes marked the same. The headstamp is marked 2005, with I think Israeli symbols.
Anyone concur?

I have several thousand rounds of IMI M193, its older, from 1993. The headstamp is TZZ 93, with various other numbers on the headstamp. Great nato-spec ammo! It is packed in 30rd cardboard boxes in an ammo box containing 390 rounds.

Is yours Israeli Military Industries M193?

The lot is PPU 0503-06. I suspect it is Israeli Military Industries ammo, but I can't be sure.

You have Prvi Partizan AKA Wolf M193. I have some myself. Headstamp will be nny, cyrillic for ppu.

You won't see any IMI stuff as all of their production is going to the sandbox. Even IWI can't get it for Tavor testing. They use Czech!

Ahhhhh, WOLF?

Might as well throw that crap out and find some quality ammo.

Nonsense. WOLF is only the importer. PPU is a very good brand. I shoot tons of it. The are no IMI, but pretty close.

Wolf got a bad name for the older lacquered steel cased .223 and 7.62. People #####ed that the laquer would foul the hot chambers, and lead to jambs.

They seem to be creeping upmarket, with more brass cased ammo from plants with a better rep.
