Israeli AR uppers?

i was wondering, you do a lot of great things for the canadian gun market.

would you see if you can bring in the ar uppers from Israel as they switch from the m4 m16 to the tavor? maybe if they were a good price they would sell like hot cakes.

I doubt they will be scrapping their M16/M4's, Israel has large inventorys of surplus guns. When I was there in 2001 I toured an IDF base and got inside a weapons vault. They had racks of on M1919 MG's, M1 carbines, AK's, FN FAL's etc. I even saw a WW2 Half Track that was still in use.

+1, they are still using m1 carbines. The stuff just moves down, not out.

BTW M16A1 are available as-new very cheap. But I don't have a bottomless pit of cash. If you know of any investors with an extra 7 figures around, let me know.

My dad was just in Israel in July. He said he saw military personal in the area of the Dead Sea carrying Mausers. Probably the converted model but still, definately pre-m16 era gear.

I was there for 6 months in 2001 and the IDF either had M16's, CAR-15's or Galils. Tour bus operators etc had Uzi's or M1 carbines.

If switching to the tavor is like switching to the galil they will go straight back to ARs in no time
